audax at Money20/20 Asia: Event Podcasting to engage C-Suites and drive thought leadership content
background
As a sponsor of Money20/20 Asia in Bangkok, audax saw the event as a key opportunity to elevate its brand presence and contribute to meaningful conversations shaping the future of finance. Rather than relying on traditional booth engagement, audax sought to create authentic dialogue with C-suite leaders — capturing their insights and perspectives as part of a broader effort to build high-quality thought leadership content.

“Working with Audere Communications at Money20/20 Asia was a great experience. As a new initiative to strengthen brand visibility and build meaningful thought leadership content by connecting with senior banking and tech leaders, Audere Communications successfully secured interviews with senior leaders and C-suite executives from banks right at our booth.
The high-quality, evergreen podcast content created from these sessions drove strong engagement and continues to support our brand and thought leadership through episodes and social media clips. We look forward to future collaborations.”

the solution
To optimize engagement at Money20/20 Asia, audax designed a targeted podcast activation to build high-quality thought leadership content, raise brand awareness and produce high-value content assets. Ahead of the event, audax provided a curated list of key speakers and delegates from the banking sector in Southeast Asia, they wished to engage. Our team proactively reached out and secured interviews with the senior leaders from banks including Krungsri Bank, RCBC, Maya, Philippine Bank of Communications, Hattha Bank, and ACB Bank.
We worked in close partnership with audax to ensure their strategic messaging was seamlessly integrated into the podcast interview. Comprehensive pre-interview planning calls were conducted to align on key discussion points, particularly emphasising the future of finance in Southeast Asia and audax’s positioning within the industry.
During the event, a podcast recording studio was built within the audax booth, creating an inviting and professional setting for the interviews to take place. Over the course of a single morning, 11 consecutive interviews were recorded, generating significant interest, buzz and distinguishing audax’s presence within the exhibition space.
Notably, the sessions included a detailed interview with audax’s CEO, Kelvin Tan, covering the company’s evolution, its impact on financial inclusion, and its vision for the future of digital banking in the region.
the outcome
The recorded conversations were developed into two episodes of the C-suite podcast, complemented by individual clips from each guest that were distributed across audax’s social media platforms. These assets provided audax with high-value, evergreen content that continues to support their marketing efforts well beyond the event.
Importantly, this initiative facilitated meaningful face-to-face engagement with a highly targeted audience, with each interview serving as both a valuable content asset and a catalyst for new business discussions.
The project successfully met audax’s primary objective of driving thought leadership content, while also delivering enduring content resources that bolster their ongoing marketing and thought leadership strategies.
